Terms and Conditions

 

1. Estimates & Quotes

  • All estimates are free and valid for 30 days.
     
  • Final pricing may vary based on unforeseen subfloor issues or custom labor needs.
     
  • Quotes include materials, labor, and disposal unless stated otherwise.
     


2. Payments

  • 50% deposit may be required before materials are ordered.
     
  • Remaining balance is due upon completion of work.
     
  • Accepted forms of payment: cash, check, and major credit/debit cards.
     

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
     
  • Deposits may be forfeited if cancellation occurs after materials have been purchased.
     
  • Jobs may be rescheduled due to weather, supplier delays, or emergencies.
     


4. Warranty & Workmanship

  • Workmanship is guaranteed for 1 year from date of installation.
     
  • Manufacturer warranties apply to all flooring products installed.
     
  • Damage caused by misuse, water intrusion, or improper maintenance is not covered.
     

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customer must ensure job site is accessible and cleared of furniture unless otherwise agreed.
     
  • Pets and children must be kept away from work areas during installation.
     


6. Liability

  • We are not liable for delays caused by third-party vendors or circumstances beyond our control.
     
  • Any damage to existing subfloors or structures not visible during estimate will be assessed and discussed before proceeding.
     


7. Privacy

  • We do not share or sell your information. Contact details are used only for communication and scheduling purposes.

 

Return & Refund Policy

At Floyd’s Flooring, all sales are final once materials are ordered or delivered. Due to the nature of custom flooring orders and supplier policies, we do not accept returns or exchanges.


Special Order Materials

  • Flooring and materials are ordered specifically for your project and cannot be returned.
     
  • If a return is approved by the supplier, a 25% restocking fee will apply.
     
  • Any additional shipping or handling fees will be the responsibility of the customer.
     


Cancellations

  • Orders canceled before materials are purchased may be eligible for a full refund.
     
  • If materials have already been ordered, refunds are subject to supplier return approval and restocking fees.
     


Damaged or Defective Products

  • Please inspect all products upon delivery.
     
  • If materials arrive damaged or defective, we will work with the manufacturer to arrange replacements in accordance with their warranty terms.
     


Labor & Installation

  • All installation labor is non-refundable once work has begun.
     
  • If you have concerns about your installation, please contact us within 7 days of completion so we can address the issue.
